Following their escape from the human city, Fine brings Momo to her secluded villa. The two begin to bond over music—a forbidden art in Momo's human world—and Momo’s initial prejudice against vampires starts to erode. Meanwhile, leaders from both sides are in pursuit: Momo’s uncle, Kubo, leads a human retrieval mission, while the vampire Allegro seeks to return Fine to her duties.
